2012 Southern California Undergraduate Research Conference in Chemistry and Biochemistry

Who’s invited
Undergraduate student researchers and their mentors are invited to participate in the 2012 Southern California Undergraduate Research Conference in Chemistry and Biochemistry. This year’s event is hosted by the CSU Channel Islands Chemistry Department.
What to do
Please register to present a poster during the afternoon poster session, or to give an oral presentation of your work at the morning research symposium. Registration will open on 2/20/2012 and close on 3/16/2012 at midnight. See these guidelines for abstract submission, poster and presentation preparation.
You will receive an email no later that March 1 informing you of the status of your abstract submission. At that time, a schedule of events will be provided that outlines when and where you'll present your poster or talk.
What’s provided
The conference is free, and both parking and lunch will be provided free of charge. Awards will be presented in the afternoon for outstanding posters and presentations. Thanks to our sponsors, Amgen and the American Chemical Society, for their support.
What’s going to happen
A morning of oral presentations, followed by lunch and the poster session. Awards will be presented at a closing ceremony.
